Delivered ~33,500 kWh of Clean Power for 45% Landlord Supply Self-Sufficiency Across Two Towers
Karan Buttar, a London property owner, transformed two residential towers with the help of dual 15.23 kWp solar PV systems. Both projects help cut annual landlord supply costs by up to £6,600 and offset ~16,800 kg CO₂ each year.

Being a landlord in London can be a financial nightmare when it comes to energy bills. For Karan Butter, saving on energy bills and being eco-friendly was a double-edged sword. Like many landlords who are always looking into the future, he wanted to kill two birds with one stone by creating modern, energy-efficient homes for his tenants while also improving the long-term value of his investment. This led him to choose solar as a way forward, and we were delighted to help.
The vision was to simply replicate a high-performing solar solution across both Tower A (33 flats) and Tower B (31 flats). Each system was thoughtfully designed to maximise south-facing exposure and provide consistent solar generation year in and year out. By choosing a dual installation, Karan doubled the impact, which then helped secure reliable returns, demonstrating that large-scale residential buildings can play their part in reducing carbon emissions.
